2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty - Bad Enough

Josh Norwood's '06 Ford Is Nasty, But It's A Daily Driver, Too

Josh Norwood always wanted a lifted truck, but it had to be a daily driver. And in Central California, one of the ways to ensure that it is done right, is by letting Forbidden Motorsports (209/492-0150) do the work.

The truck had to be clean, and since it was Josh's only vehicle at the time of the build, it had to get done as quick as possible, too. Once Josh had the truck back out on the road, however, he couldn't stop there and brought it back to Forbidden Motorsports for some chrome and powdercoat work. That's the only thing he would do differently if he had to do it all over again-he'd do it all at once instead of a little here and a little there.

The '06 Super Duty has a Bully Dog plug-and-play tuner and a custom 4-inch turbo-back exhaust with a 7-inch tip. The suspension is from Fabtech and lifts the truck 7 inches in the front and 5 inches in the back. Chrome Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks were used all the way around.

Toyo M/T tires (33-inch) are mounted on Weld Dune 20-inch wheels for just the right look.

One of the rules Josh had for the build was that the truck could never get to a point where he was afraid to get it dirty. "I pull my snowmobiles in the winter up to my parents' cabin almost every weekend, and I use it to pull a duck blind out to the nearby lakes during hunting season," Josh explained. "During the week it is used as my daily driver for the 20-minute commute to and from work."
